Anyone notice background noise on digital, with Verizon? Kind of like a wind noise over the voice and on dead air. It does it on all of my phones. All operate in digital mode.

There is some kind of background noise, but I only sometimes hear it when both parties are quiet...it's wireless, not landline...

If you think this is a real problem, report, I doubt they will do anything about it if it's the same 'noise' that I hear

All right, let us know The problem you're having must be much more severe than what we're hearing in my area, for example, cause it's barely noticable unless you are in a quiet room with neither one of the two parties talking. |

I have been dealing with Verizon on a noise issue as well. I have heard it on the VX6100 and my VX7000. I'm on my 6th phone because the noise absolutely drives me nuts. I can only describe it as a metallic sound, like if you tap two rings together. It doesn't do it all the time and it does seem to progressively get worse. I have not heard it on any other brand of phone however. Phone or service? No one has offered any clear cut answer. I'm going to try and get a different brand of phone this time.

The noise you're describing, is it like a sound that you can mostly hear if both sides are quiet and are not talking? If so then it's the same sound that I got with my VX6000 but not with any other phone.

Like I said, there is a clicking-sound problem with some LG phones, and I had that problem too only with LG, but Jerro's experiences differ.
