Ok here is my story. I have an SE47. This is my 3rd one in two weeks. My original one I have had since I signed my contract. For what ever reason people could no longer hear me. So I took into my Verizon store and they sent me another one. Well that one the screen would not always work. Usually just show a blank screen but the phone worked fine. So I took it back and they again sent me another one. Thank got I have the software and data cable for this phone cause it would be PITA to keep putting in everyone’s numbers. So now this phone I have is having the same problem the screen goes blank after it had been on for a while. So I took this phone in. The tech person said They would replace it with a different phone since I have had this phone replaced twice with in a 60 day period or something like that. So they gave me these two options to choose from. An LG VX3300 Yuck, and a Samsung SCH N330. I took a glance at each of these phones. But didn’t’ have time to make a decision cause I had to go for an interview. And I’m glad I didn’t make any decisions right then in there. I have done some research on both of these phones. They both seem to be ok phones. They are basic phones from what I’m getting. One thing I did see is that neither of these phones are data capable but the SE47 is. Also I have the data cable for my se47. I just want to know what other people have done in this situation. And what there experience where. My contact is up in march. And at that time I'm considering going with cingular. But not sure yet.

Have you looked at the Kyocera KX1v (SoHo)? We have four on our family plan and are pleased. BTW, in the Washington DC area, when the choice came down to Cingular and Verizon, we chose VZW based on hearing many complaints from Cingular customers about the coverage. You may want to look before you leap. |
