Default They just cannot admit their tower is faulty

The tower that serves my town randomly stops all digital service. So at random times my v710 boots into analog. I've seen it happen on the test screen. All pilots for CDMA just disapeer. Meanwhile, my friend's lg7000's and a670's beep 'no service'. My 710 and my friends' 8900s will work in analog. Then a few minutes later....cdma appears again. It's starting to really become annoying. Verizonicon denies there is a problem and even claimed they 'were taking the tower on brick store landing down'....yeah right. The local store said to take my phone in (its NOT my phone!) just so CS will shut-up....and then they'll make sure a tower team gets on it. I've called twice about this problem to 611. The store confirmed complaints from my town from people...yet nothing!

Luckily at home, my phone uses the new tower out in the countryside....usually. The phone cannot decide which tower to use sometimes, and thus about 1/7 calls only ring one time...then jump to voicemail. GRR! I hope this is resolved when the smyrna tower is fixed, but probably not. No dominate pilot I guess (CDMA kinda sucks after using GSM). My phone should just stay on the country tower. Cingular and Verizonicon are on that tower, Cingular is about 225ft up, and Verizonicon is about 150ft up. That 75ft makes about -15db in signal difference (2-4 bars vs 5!).

I am sorry to hear that Airb.

Let us know what the outcome is once Verizonicon realizes that it is there fault.
    My Carriers:

    Cellular One (TDMA) [1999-2000]>>AT&T (TDMA) [2000-2001]>>Cingular (TDMA) [2001-2003]>>Sprint [2003-2005]>>Verizon Wireless [2005 to present]>>Sprint SERO [2006-2008]>>AT&T [2008 to 2009]

First it was Verizonicon, then Cingular, now Verizonicon again? T-Mobileicon and Sprint are virtually non-existent in your area. It doesn't matter which carrier you have, problems will hunt you down! You are cursed!

    None.

I would say No Carrier is completly reliable, hopefully in the next 5-10 years they will be. I hear people with every carrier complain about almost the same things, but in different parts of the country.
