Default Text Messaging

My son currently has an allowance of 250 txt messages per month for his ENV3 and he already has gone over for the month. My question: Can I upgrade to the $10 a month txt messaging plan and not pay the extra cash for those txt messages. AND: If upgrade to the $10 plan, can I go back to the $5 plan any time?? Thanks for the help!

Call customer service about this. They may be able to back-date it. There's no guarantee this will wipe out the overage, but it never hurts to ask.

They should be able to back date the text plan increase to cover everything he has done so far this month. And yes, if you find in the future that his usage drops you can go back to the $5 plan as long as it still exists then.

Usually it's just best to go unlimited. If you have another texter in your family it may be better to get a family texting plan.
