Default New US Cellular Rebates

Starting this Sunday all US Cellular rebates are going to be for $50 [b]and require Easyedge[b]. In addition, instead of receiving a $50 check, you will receive a Visa gift card. Those are a hassle to use and usually end up having money left on them. One more way to make rebates less customer friendly.

I had a Visa gift card after XMas and found out that in most stores, the cashier has to enter the $$$ amount of the card before it will work. I tried to use it at Sams Club and they ran it through the reader and it didn't work. I went to Best Buy and the clerk asked how much was on the card. She typed in $30 and the card worked fine. She said that most cashiers don't enter the $$$ amount first and that is why the cards don't always work.
