Question mp3 playing thru bluetooth headset on Razr V3m

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I just got a Razr V3m and was wondering how I can play mp3's thru the bluetooth headset I have.

Not sure, but just to let you know, the V3m does NOT support A2DP, which is the stereo bluetooth profile.

Also another thing to note, even the models that do support the A2DP profile will not play mp3's on a regular BT headset.

It may just be Nokia, but I've listen to mp3's on my Moto H700/Nokia 6265i many times.

I had the 6265 and could play MP3's through it, however the RAZR does not have this ability. Also you could hear the custom ringtone in the BT on the Nokia which was a nice feature.

Indeed. Makes it so you don't miss the call. Didn't realize that was a Nokia-specific feature, though.

I think we've discussed this before and Motorola's excuse was that the BT headsets were not designed to play Mp3's and they locked that feature out to prevent damage to the hardware. I find that strange, because if anything will damage the hardware it is Motorola's "Siren" ringtone, which will play through the BT headset when selected.
