Go to www.uscellular.com and click the link to send a text message. It lets you type in anything you want for the number.

Also, the person you're texting must have US Cellular for this to work. If they have someone else as a provider, (i.e. Verizon or Cingular), you will have to go to that website to send an anonymous text to them. | |

That's easy, search the forum for "Direct" voice mail numbers, or voice mail centers, I know the one for NC on Cingular is (704) 778-9988 give it a whirl I'll pm you my phone number so you can enter it in and try it out.
