I'm curious to Know if a usb cord would work with the metro pcs model of the motorola and if yes what is the best program to download?

Yes, a Motorola USB data cable will work the with v266. It has a USB port on one end and a port that fits into the data/charger pins on the bottom of your v266. You can purchase a data cable here along with a copy of Motorola Phone Tools 4, which is a great program.

This is a US Cellular forum, so in the future you should post questions about Metro PCS phones in the All Other Carriers Forum or in the appropriate handset manufacturer forum. In this case, that would be the Motorola Forum.
