I recently sold my LG phone from US Cellular and my friend wanted to activate it on another carrier but he needs the Service Programming code. I tried calling US Cellular and telling them the situation and they will not give me the code. Does anyone know what it is or how do i go about finding out what it is??? H E L P ! After I go to menu 0 and enter 000000 which does NOT work. Thanks

The service programming code (you may also hear it referred to as SPC) is basically the lock code for the handset. The SPC is used to lock phones so they cannot be used on other carrier's networks. If USCC won't give you the SPC, you're probably out of luck. 000000 is the default SPC and only works once, for the initial programming of the phone.
