    What is your total bill?

For example, they claim that you pay $39.99 per month.
How much are you actually paying?

I'm not interested in SMS or other optional stuff. I really need to know how much taxes and fees are there.

Of course it's going to depend on where you live and what your local tax rates are, etc., but I have the $39.99/month plan, and without any of my add-on features, I'd be paying approximately $48.00/month with taxes and fees included. (Rough estimate - as I just allocated all taxes and fees between the monthly basic service and add-on features. Probably some of the fees would not be allocable.) Depending on your local tax rates, an additional $10/month for taxes & fees should be within spitting distance.

As hme83 stated, it all depends on where you live and what your State and if any Local taxes are included, along with Federal taxes.

This site give more information on each State's taxes, as well as links to send letters to State and Federal Goverment officials to complain about the taxes, they also send updates if your State, County or Local Goverment plans on any increases to take action against it.

I have use it numerouse times to complain about pending tax increases as well as the old FET, and there is no fee to join.

I have created a spreadsheet for 2 year service. The last thing I need is taxes and fees for Lawrenceville, GA 30043.

And gues what, I have the highest honer to be living in the most expensive state when it comes to taxes on cell phones. I am glad and looking forward to be out of here (hopefully soon) and down to a state which is less than the national avg. but it sure is not less than NJ.

I called a local shop, and they said 10-15% (most likely 15%).
    That's $6 more for $40.

    I pay 75$ for a plan of 59.99$ .
No text messages nothing at all.
I come from India. India has superior technology and no dropped calls
No 20% taxes. It is very affordable. and every one has GPS .
It will tell you the ddirections and even counties where you are drriving thorugh.
Its a shame on US to have taxes on wireless users and also stealing money out of public funds like social security and health care to spend uselessly on meaning less wars causing billions of dollars.

It could have wiped out unemployement and poverty in the whole world with that money.
We could have got a better world to live.

Just one person's stupidness ??????Billions cannot do anything about it.????

Yeah he does, and unfortunatly the goverment likes to tax us to no end. I am not sure if India wireless is goverment mandated or setup like in Europe?
Also we do have our competition factor and that can slow some things down in the begining.

As for taxes and wiping out poverty ect... if we stopped paying for other countries and what they need, then we could & we should be taking care of our own 1st.

But that is not a discussion for here.
