With all the recent talk about the possible acquisition of T-Mobile USA by AT&T I thought some might like to know that the current customer care number for T-Mobile (and formerly VoiceStream) goes waaaaaay back to its days as part of Western Wireless? The number 1-800-937-8997 actually spells 1-800-WEST-WYR !

    Wow!

On a similar vein, some of those old * prepaid numbers still work. I can still call *7877 (*PUPP) which goes back to the Powertel days. *3279 (Easy), dating back to the Voicestream days still can be dialed from my prepaid phone :)
