I just started configuring a WA page on Facebook.
It is a bit of a pain, because it isn't very straight forward and I'm pretty much a fb noob.

Anyway, I found out that you need 25 people to become a fan before you can claim a vanity name.
(That would be facebook.com/WirelessAdvisor )

So please help by becoming a fan of this page on facebook:

There isn't much there yet....I'm still learning it and working on it.

Charlyee, I would log in from a PC instead of the mobile site. That is what I did and it worked for me.

Exactly. I still don't get it....28 fans and I can't figure out how to claim a name for the page. The option just isn't there like the help documentation says it should be.

They don't make it easy to figure out how to get it.

For any W.A. members on the fence about joining Facebook because of security concerns, they have several levels of security you can choose from to allow only certain people to see your profile.

You can let everyone see it (I wouldn't go for this one), friends of friends, or just friends you've allowed access to. You can customize it as well. Easy to manage as well.

It's actually a lot of fun on there. Much better than MySpace, IMO.

Mike the privacy settings either say everyone or old settings, so can I assume old settings mean only your friends can see your profile? Thanks.

Yes, and you can tailor the old setting to whatever level you want. They just implemented the new privacy settings option you saw yesterday. You can customize which given information is seen within the profile. Show some info to your friends, but keep other info for your eyes only.
