I noticed when I paste YouTube videos only the link appears, and not the embedded YouTube player.

In other vBulletin forums, when I paste a YouTube link, the embedded player shows up ie: the streaming player is there, just need to click the play button to watch the video without having to open YouTube.com in a webbrowser...

Does WA block the embedded player on purpose?

What you're describing is a custom hack to the vBulletin software. vBulletin does not do this right out of the box. The administrators of that site have to put code into their forums so you can imbed youtube videos. I have a similar hack running on another forum that I administrate, but we code it like this: [yt]video ID# here[/yt] to imbed the video on the forum.

Joe- If you're interested in doing this I can give you code we used on the other forum.

Like Jay said, that isn't a standard feature of vBulletin that I can turn on.

I see that there are a few different ways to do it, which I will look into.
