Images: 6 | CONTEST! It is time for a new contest.....hopefully we'll all get a kick out of this one! The Draw Your Phone Contest To enter this contest, you have to draw a picture of your current phone in MS Paint (or the equivalent). (Pretty much all computers come with a simple drawing program like Paint.) The point is to free hand draw a picture of your phone so we can all laugh at it. This will be a random drawing contest. The quality of your drawing does not factor into who will win this contest. You can make your drawing as simple or as elaborate as you want. It will be the most funny for all if you just wing it. How do you enter? Draw your phone, attach your picture to this thread and tell us what phone it is. For example, here is my Verizon HTC 6800. ![]() Prizes: 1st: $150 gift certificate/card for Amazon.com 2nd: $100 gift certificate/card for Amazon.com 3rd: $50 gift certificate/card for Amazon.com 4th: Choice of any available WA t-shirt 5th: Choice of any available WA t-shirt When does it end? Contest ends May 1st, 2009. Some Rules:
That's pretty much it. The contest starts NOW in this thread. Feel free to ask any questions or comment on your fellow members' drawings in this thread. And, the winners by random drawing are...... . . . . . . . . 1st: Radio Raiders ($150 gift certificate/card for Amazon.com) 2nd: Sailorcancer ($100 gift certificate/card for Amazon.com) 3rd: hf1khal ($50 gift certificate/card for Amazon.com) 4th: SteveW (Choice of any available WA t-shirt) 5th: hme83 (Choice of any available WA t-shirt) If you won a gift certificate, please send a PM to JFB with an email address. The gift cert. will be delivered by Amazon with a code in an email. If you won a shirt, send me a PM with your mailing info and size. I only have these sizes available: S, L, 2XL and 3XL Congratulations to the winners and Thank You to everybody that entered!

I actually did this twice, once before I read the rules completely. No, I don't have a lot of free time. SW

Ok, here's my entry with my HTC Tilt... Note the high resloution of the screen display. I bet you've never seen the Windows logo quite like that... I should note this was done with MS Paint, with a laptop touchpad. -Jay

1. The ability to be creative within the confines of the guidelines. 2. The attention to details. I am happy to see that you do show signs of having one of these two. Unfortunately, sometimes engineers have to look for solutions that best answer the customer's needs... build something based on the PRD... that sort of thing

There is also a matter of interpretation of the PRD and the opportunity to show the customer a more time efficient method of reaching the end goal. Palm850/v0100 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11)

I'm quite proud of my touch-pad drawn phone, which took about 30 minutes to put together. As rudimentary as it looks, I'm amazed it came out better than I thought it would...
