Why are the times ahead by 6 hours? Also I see a message in the top-right of my screen welcoming me and says that I last visited on 12-31-1969 at 11PM.

I think you need to set the time for your correct time zone in your profile. As for your last login time, it will correct itself the next time you log in. |

Nokia, go into User CP --> Edit Options, adjust the time zones settings to your time zone. That will fix the time for you. As for the 1969 thing, that should pass once the forum's final quirks are ironed out.

The 1969 isn't a quirk... Since you have never visited the site before this login, it will show that as a default date. Once you log in/log out the first time, it'll show the time of your last visit.
