This PART 2 of The Webmaster Needs a New Phone Contest. In a nutshell, whatever the forum members choose, is the phone I will buy. (Here is a link to part 1) (CONTEST! The webmaster needs a new phone contest.) To enter this contest all you have to do is vote in the poll above. To keep the number of poll items reasonable, I have combined some of the suggestions from part 1 and eliminated a few phones that were not available or too expensive (E-90). If the combined poll items of Blackberries or Treos win, it'll be my choice of specific model. Vote in this poll and you will get one entry into the contest. Anybody that posted a suggestion, already has one entry and will get a 2nd if they vote in the poll. YES that means they have a greater chance of winning. All votes are public, one vote per user, all other previously mentioned rules apply. The winner will be selected by a random drawing starting with 1st prize through to 5th. VOTE IN THE POLL BY FRIDAY 11/30 TO ENTER THIS CONTEST The Prizes are listed below. Here are the details from Part 1. Quote:

I still say the Mogul if you are going to stay with Sprint. I played with the Touch when we got them in and e-mailing and texting are horrible.

After seeing how Tilt magically transformed a number of people right in front of my eyes, I've got to vote for it.

Ok, I've switched my vote to the ATT Tilt! The prospects of having built-in GPS and international roaming, and that kick ___ tilt up screen seal the deal over the Mogul for me. Don't forget the ROM issues with the Mogul. I'm set!
Yeah, i've got the same map on my 2gb SD card. Now only if I had built in GPS instead of the stupid external thing I had to get.
That was a must have for me. I was spoiled by the built in GPS on my old iPAQ 6515 so much that I won't even consider a PDA or smartphone that did not have a GPS receiver built in. -Jay |
