Lightbulb reinstate monitored img tags for sigs

i have a feeling that most of the people here have something other than dial-up. WA used to allow img tags in sig at one time and it made the pages look cool to see what people have created. Not sure if this poll will do anything but lets see how many what img tags allowed again. this can be easily monitored as it is done on other forums with just as many if not more "active" users. what i mean by monitored is the size constraints. for those few left that have dial up....come on guys its 2005 ditch that old 90's dial up !

I don't think we should have IMG tags in our sigs. I think our sigs are fine without them.

What would be wonderful would be to make it something you can turn off or on in your settings. Hence dialup people can turn them off for easier loading.

Exactly,
it would be nice to be able to load up a small image for our signatures like we used to in the old forums

That's exactly what I do at HoFo so I don't have to see images in peoples' sigs...and I have a cable connection.

It's already an option in your User CP. You can turn off signatures.

That said, I find signature images annoying myself.

I find the images annoying too. And there is no way to view text sigs only, therefore I personally hope images in sigs stay off.

My vote is no, I don't like them on Ho Fo, and wouldn't like to see them here. Having the ability to turn them off would be OK though if it were to be reinstated...

Are you switching over to a Cox High Speed Line or what are you doing? Is this because they aren't availible in your area yet and will at the end of Feb, or another reason???

Last year, I signed a 1-yr committment w/ MSN Dial-up for like $100 rebate, which I used to buy a DigiCam for my Wife.

That committment will be up end-of Feb. I will definately switch to Cox High-Speed. I Can't wait!!!

Speaking of which, Comcast is upgrading their service to 4 Mbps instead of 3 Mbps sometime this year according to an article that Fire14 (I believe) posted.

I was with Comcast in Tucson before I moved back up to Phoenix and had to go with Cox. They were 4 mbps down there for me, and it was very nice. However, they only had 256 uplink and so things were slower than they are for me now...

Supposedly they will upgrade their service to 4 Mbps and 312 (I think or something like that).

Do you have a wireless network set up azcellphonejunkie?

Sorry for going off-topic...
