. Most Americans circumvent the drinking age limitation by drinking as much as they can if they study abroad here in Europe. The legal drinking age is set at 16 in most European countries. Here in Germany, a lot of people start a bit earlier. I stay away from _______ myself, it simply doesn't attract my interest.

When I was in Europe with my family in 1999, and we saw our distant relatives (they live south of Paris in a small town (I forgot the name of the town)), I was offered a dessert wine and I took a sip and I hated it. It practically made me gag.

Now, I just have an occasional drink when I am out with my family. If I do have a drink with friends (which I haven't yet since I have to drive back to my house), I will wait at least an hour and a half and eat something before I drive. But that is a big if it that happens.
