This forum is killer, except for the fact that you can not unsubscribe to a message thread.

Under customize, you can select which categories that you do not want to see listed, which is the closest thing to unsubscribing, but, that's not a very practical option.

I'm not sure I understand your point here. I never have "subscribed" to anything on this site, yet I can be logged on and reading the forum for my region within a couple of clicks of my mouse.

What's the point of "subscribing?" I, for one, don't need any more e-mail...

i seem to have the same problem. I have not subscribed to any threads and i keep gettin LOADS on emails and its getting annoying after a while. Maybe we should ask the webmaster (joe) for assistance.

I would ask the Webmaster (Joe). Send him a PM. I get loads of email, but I am subbed to loads of threads.

If you are subscribed to threads, unsubbing is easy. Click the little icon that looks like a piece of paper with an arrow over it and select unsubscribe all. You can also click the "today" button and on the left you will see a list of all the threads you are subscribed to.

Cool. Thanks. That's all I needed to know. It should be labeled with text also, instead of just an icon. There should also be a link in the email notification that should allow you to unsubscribe to the thread.

Yes, you can view everything without subscribing to anything. The point of subscribing to a thread is so that you can see when someone else has posted a reply in the thread, as opposed to having to keep on going back and checking. But when the thread gets hella popular, it definitely gets annoying...hence my post of this thread.

You have to select "Subscribe to this thread" when you are posting a reply to be subscribed to it. And I guess even if you don't post a reply in the thread, you can still subscribe to it by clicking on the icon of a piece of paper with an arrow across it, which is in the upper right hand corner of all of the replies to the thread, as AnthroMatt pointed out.
