I didn't figure I was dealing with internet-unsaavy people - but y'all never use dw/dh - it's always SO (if anything) or typed all the way out.

I'm NOT from Iowa. I do love that movie. Shoeless Joe got the raw end of that deal.

I will play baseball/softball - no problem with that. Watching it - totally different story. I pay attention at WS time - that's about it.

Basketball - same thing. No thanks. Why do they need to play 150+ games to determine a winner? Why do they have to last 6+ months??? Because that's - up.

I'm so not working today. And I have a meeting in 20 minutes that I have to go into & say I don't have an SOP finished. I won't be telling them why, though - since it doesn't seem that anyone has completed their assignments.

LOL - She works for a company that brings everyone up to Minneapolis (their headquarters) for a Thur-Sat - puts them up in hotels & throws a swanky dinner banquet. No one has to drive anywhere.

I could post pics of her in the Holidazzle parade as an almost Suess-like elf. But that would be mean.

And what's up with everyone talking about the glasses. I took mine off for my pic. I'm almost coke-bottle like - thank god for new technology that makes the lens thinner & lighter! Can't see a darn thing with no contacts or glasses!

LOL------If your SOP is anything like your basketball season, people in your meeting are gonna hang themselves, like that scene in Airplane- .

Basketball Season is only 82 games---Baseball-162-----Football-16 and Hockey-----It depends on strikes and lockouts.

Shows how closely I follow Basketball. It still lasts forever. How many preseason do they play? That has to put them upward of 100.

Hockey best not have another strike or lockout for a WHILE! I might become a real girl & cry!

Which is the crappy thing about Iowa - not having access to lots of hockey.

I grew up in Fargo - you couldn't throw a rock without hitting an ice rink - indoor & outdoor. There are DOZENS of indoor-year-round rinks. In the part of Iowa where I live. 2. and one of those is in the MALL!

Charlyee - It must have been a funny working Friday for most of us. For a moment, I was wondering what the diagram behind you shows and then it crossed my mind that like in the TV broadcasting sector the construction sector uses such plans/diagrams to show how machines or equipment are connected. In the broadcast sector, this relates to the likes of cameras, broadcast video players/recorders and all the other fine stuff needed to put together a show and broadcast it via cable, satellite or the regular terrestial route. Such broadcast equipment plans are a bit difficult to read for those who don't see this setup on a daily basis. I'll get a pic of such a plan for a comparison.

Shores, The drawing directly behind me is our plant's 4160 volt One-Line power grid, starting at the 2 ends of the plant where Wisconsin Electric enters into our premises at 14.9 KV. There is another small drawing right next to it that shows the Utilities substations and power grid in the general area. Sharp eyes Shores.....
