LOL, it does look like one doesn't it, but no they are just binoculors. I have 5 lbs of King & Silver salmon all for myself.  Here is another picture, although this one is obviously a fake we did see Black Bears, Brown Bears and Grizzly Bears.

I'm back from vacation in California. Two weeks ago I went to at Mono Lake in the Eastern Sierra, about 100 miles SE of Lake Tahoe. I recommend everyone go there to check it out, it reminds me of the arctic. There are tufa towers (made of calcium carbonate), and the water is 3 times saltier than the ocean. Here I was about 2 weeks ago at Mono Lake, and I was wearing an Alltel shirt
