I remember Bingo... one of the squads I used to be a member of did that. It was nothing but a bunch of old, chain-smoking ladies. It would take several days for the hall to air out after Bingo...

The crowd is getting younger & with the "No Smoking" ban we don't have those problems anymore. (it took me a while to get use to not smoking while calling) but the crowd is nice where I work it.

Yeah, but if the instituted a no-smoking policy they might as well just stop bingo. The chain smokers would just go accross the street and play Bingo at the fire department.

For us it was a State Wide ban in all places including bars, resturants, bingo halls and everywhere else including the vol fire houses, But the Casino gambling floors. Guess we know who has the money & power in this state.
