Oh cool! Another person who likes cars! hee hee Seriously, I grew up around the race car circuit... my biological father orginally started out, but he sucked at it. All the guys ribbed him that his wife was better. So my Mom ended up driving the cars, and my dad fixed them. If the child authorities only knew how many times I went around in the race car at 200 miles an hour without a car seat! OMG! I was one of those kids... laying up in the back seat window waiting for mom to hit the brakes so I would roll out and hit the back of the seats. Anyway I have had the priviledge of meeting Bobby Allison and Richard Petty when I was a kid. I don't remember much about it.... but it's cool to know I got the chance. I think I still have the picture of Bobby floating around in my albums that he signed for me.. sometime I'll have to pull out the pictures and put them on here at the forum . My mom's car was really cool! After my parents split up... my Mom kind've stopped. So did my dad. But at least I know where I got my love for "speed" came from. I knew I would be in trouble the day I got my camaro! |

Our '67 is about back together (dh's been going thru the engine & tranny since last winter...got a new radiator & fan). We dropped the engine back in this weekend - just have the radiator, fan, belts & electrical to hook back up. We'll be running by this weekend! I'll take pics when i start driving it to work next week.

Playing with the LG CU500 - my first camera phone. 1.3 megapixels, but it takes pretty dim, grainy pictures IMHO, and is hard to focus. As many others have mentioned, it has no flash. I brightened this up a bit on my computer, but otherwise it is unretouched and unadulterated. |
