Congraulations on your 500th Post. By the way, we started a Junior Milestone thread for people whose important milestones are reached, but are still below the 1000 post mark. So, for #'s 6, 7, 8, and 900, you may wanna place this in there. Either way, it's all good. Thanks for all the great posts, and keep up the great work!!!!

Zima... even at 21 I know what Zima is... and if you must drink the original, drop a jolly rancher into the bottom. Once it dissolves you'll have some flavor to the drink. :-P (at least that's what we always did) ~*Ash*~ |

I have drank _______ before (mostly champagne (when I was in Europe for three weeks back in 1998)). I drank it in France at my distant relatives chateau (there chateau was built in th 1840s (if I remember correctly)). That night was pretty cool. We started eating dinner at 10 or so, and finished eating around 12 am. We then stayed there until 3 am, and then had to drive back to our hotel (that was also a chateau which was built back in 1505 I also had a sip of beer when I was younger (my dad gave me a taste and I spit it out because it was horrible...hey I was 9 or 10 at the time

I come from a small little hick town tho. One of those places where the cops know everyone and don't care... Where there's nothing better to do on the weekends cept head down to the lake with your buddies and a 30 pack. Plus I was basically raised my cowboys... (Dad's a team roper) I actually had my first sip of crown royal at the ripe old age of 6. My mother (Who's an RN) was at work, and my dad, and a roping buddy of his thought it would be quite amusing to see how a 6 year old would respond to liquor... Southern living is quite unlike any other... Altho I must admit I never actually got drunk until I was legal... (21) ~*Ash*~ |

My old town in central Illinois is about 25,000 people. Your town sort of sounds like my old town. There is nothing to do after 8 pm, and there is maybe 1 if not 2 cops patrolling the streets. The biggest spot to hang out is a Super Wal-Mart store. People for fun go to parties and drink until they are drunk (kids rangning in age from 16-23 or so).

But the closest shopping to my old town is either approx. 130 miles NNW (Chicago), 30-40 minutes west, or 90 miles east (Indianapolis, IN). My town also has several wheat, corn, and soybean fields surrounding it. My graduating class was 442 (or something like that....I don't remember).

You guy's graduating class has almost the same amount of people my entire town has! We don't have a stoplight... Let alone even THINK about a Super Walmart... We have no major chains here, no major restaraunts. Just a pizza joint that's part of a local gas station, and a small diner/cafe outside of town. That can maybe hold 20 people... We have no place for movie rentals. We have one school, that covers Headstart-12. So you basically start, and leave school with the same group of kids. Our Public Works Authority doubles as the police station. I'd say main street is 1/4 of a mile.... So yeah, I guess small was an understatement... ~*Ash*~ |

Exterrior color - pastel waxberry interrior color - light waxberry dash color - dark waxberry factory shag carpet nice deep pillowback seats Cruise, tilt, ICE COLD R-12 A/C Upgraded transmission & oil pump to 1987 Grand National specs. As I have it set up now I get about 28 mpg highway, and I average about 18-19 mpg. Fantastic considering it got 12 mpg when I bought it 16 years ago. Sears hates me. I have lifetime brakes & shocks on it. -Jay

Do you like the atmosphere of a small town? I like my city and county's atmosphere. My county (if you include all of the cities) is about 251,377 as of 2000. But it is growing so fast everyday (there is even talk of putting a overpass over one of the local roads to help with all of the traffic). To give a brief sample of the traffic that I deal with everyday (I am glad that I don't live in say Miami or Ft. Lauderdale), the sample below is the average daily traffic over a years time from the street (intersection that is right down the street from my neighborhood): Number of cars (averaged over a year’s time): 1999 (40,587) 2000 (46,382) 2001 (48,731) 2002 (45,664) 2003 (48,896) + 7.08% (from 2002 to 2003)

I like it. Sometimes I long for something more tho... I think alot of it has to do with being born and raised here. It's all I know, so I don't really know what (if anything) I'm missing out on, ya know? ~*Ash*~ |
