Default Wireless Posting Woes

I tried posting from my Motorola V525 last night only to get a 413 "Entity too large" error when I tried to open the Wireless Post threads in the Wireless Post Forum. Is there a problem with wa00.com at the moment?

ShoresGuy, try to mess around with the options under the preferences (truncation on, 1-7 (varies) posts per page, and change how many threads you see).

If that doesn't work, then I would suggest sending Joe a PM.

Good luck.

Hmmm ok it did load the forums just fine but had problems accessing the threads themselves. I'm not a frequent wireless poster since the GPRS prices really kill you on E-Plus. The whole navigating on the wa00.com site ended up being 303 kb. I do have images disabled but E-Plus doesn't even offer anything close to unlimited GPRS to make it worth my while.

Posting from home is much better.

Is gprs still all that expensive in germany? Don't they offer reasonable pricing on even aircards now?

It really depends on who you go with. I only use GPRS on the move when I need to check train/bus schedules on the Deutsche Bahn's WAP site. Air cards for both GPRS and UMTS are readily available but it's not what I need when I'm on the move.

Sure, I understand, because with an aircard you automatically need to carry around a laptop at all times, and GPRS can easily be used just from your phone, which you carry with you anyways.
