I just bought and installed a Wi-Ex device to boost the bad singal to my Verizon LG phone in my home. I have the antennae mounted on my roof. I'm concerned that the frequency of my phone may not be compatiable with this device. The instructions suggest making a call near the transmitter to see if the "signal light begins flashing green". If not, the frequency may be wrong. Unfortunately, sometimes it does blink green sometimes red. Has anyone had experience with this device? If I have the wrong frequency, what should I do? Thanks for your help. | |

Hi, just signed up for this group. To Earl: I think you have a better chance of getting an answer to your question if you Post in other than the "Welcome" section. I doubt if many regulars monitor this section......it's boring! |

Well hello all!! I hope to learn as much as i can with WA. I'm fairly new to this website. (Just Joined today) I'm looking to find either an AE or a company that can help set up a wireless store. We have the capital and some experience in the wireless industry. We have been going crazy looking for a US Cellular AE or subagent. We are planning on having multiple product offerings including Sprint, Tmobile, US Cellular, Verizon, etc. We WERE thinking of joining American Wireless, but the chicagoland product offering seems to be quite limited. any help will be greatly appreciated. -Sam |

Hi Everyone! I'm the RadioEngineer's wife. Bill suggested I register for this forum myself, since I always have silly phone questions. I know a little more about electronics & RF than your average gal... I started out building an AM radio directional array from the ground up, then I moved on to ham radio and VoIP, then FM radio, and now cellular and wifi. Bill's taught me everything I know about Radio and it's been an awesome learning experience. The only problem is.... these darn cellphones have become so complex. So here I am ready to ask silly cell phone questions. -Kim The Radio Controlled Wife. |

Wow - what a friendly site! Thanks for the welcome. I found this while looking for info on phones and devices for the hearing impaired. I had heard that Samsung had special devices to assist with my difficulty with deafness and communication. Anyone out there have any info that would be helpful? I currently have Verizon service with the neat little keyboard phone and it works pretty well. My previous phone was a Sidekick II but it broke down after only about a year.
