Hello. I am searching for information on Amp'd Mobile. I have 2 E816 Motorola phones with Amp'd Prepaid software. I wanted to know if anyone knows of a Carrier or any issues with activating this phone to another carrier.

Images: 293 | Welcome Tammy to WA, You will most likely not be able to activate these phones on any other carrier, the majority of CDMA carriers will only activate phones that are theirs.

Hey guys.. I'm new here, so be gentle. lol. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have a sprint V3m, and want to do a lot with it: tethering, seem editing, possible flash if we can get a flash that'll work. if you know a good place to start, just let me know, i'd highly appreciate it. I'm used to the Alltel flash i had on my Cellular South phone, and now i'm locked out of everything with sprint cause the replaced the firmware with their. But I'm sure i can do something with it. Just let me know. Thanks guys!

Images: 293 | I suggest posting this in the Southern US boards & add who your carrier is & where in GA you are so you can possibly get a better answer, also which phone you are using. Welcome to WA.

Hello I'm new here. I'm hoping that somebody can answer my question. Have been with verizon wireless for a number of years now and up until two years ago never had a problem. However since moving have now gone through 3 phones (one LG and two Motorola Razr V3M) -it's been the same problem on all phones-no signal. In the morning I can leave the house with 3 bars showing; by the time I get to work they are gone- this also causes the battery to run out on my phone from a full charge to dead in 5 hours. I have tried *228 to update the roaming capabilities on the phone. Many times the phone is unable to even update the roaming. I am looking to switch cell companies but am unsure which (if any) would work any better. Thanks much |

Hello, As suggested I just wanted to say Hi. Please point me in the right direction. I have been reading many of the posts and to be honest most are WAY over my head at this time, but I am willing to learn. I am doing volunteer work in the Quito, Ecuador area and have been using a faithful Motorola T720 for the past couple of years. Now I have bought, but not in my hands yet, a couple of RAZR V3's and a SE W300i. Down here in Ecuador these are the two most modern phones that are readily accepted by the providers. I really need to learn some basics and hope you can point me to some good threads that will help me. These are all new phones and unlocked? The providers listed when I bought them were Cingular/ATT, but none have SIM cards. I do, sort of, know what a SIM card is anyway. What I would like to learn is how to set them up on my next visit back to the States, Springfield, MO. and then once I have fired them up and tested them in the States I will do the SIM changes down here. Please, just point me in the right direction to learn about setting up the RAZR V3 first. I hate to just go into a Cingular/ATT store and let them do it. I prefer to learn the old fashioned way, hard work. Thanks, Jon |

I live in an area that has little or no reception from every known cellular carrier. Sprint PCS is marginal in fades in and out but at least works. I understand I can get a booster antenna that is powered for my house and it will service both phones. I would like the get the booster that is affordable, easy to set up and I do not need a range greater than 200 yards. The signal gets very strong 200 yards away from my home. Thanks Fred |
