Welcome to WA!

According to Simple Freedom Wireless FAQs, you need their phone to use the service, so you probably won't be able to use just any Motorola CDMA phone. Give them a call at 1-800-335-6401 and see what your options are — maybe you can have your old phone flashed with their customized firmware, which I suspect is needed.

A place for Cell Phone geeks, that's quite kwel.

I moved my company from Arizona to Denver and took the service provider with us. One draw back had been that we cannot upgrade our cell phones *228 as we are roaming in this area. We have to drive all the way out to the airport which is a long trip to visit the one store here in Denver.

Whay don't the cell phone companies at least allow each other to upgrade with the *228? It's a win win situtation if you ask me.

Mavrick1903 from Madison WI (area). currently with USCC. looking for a provider with good coverage that actually brings new tech to customers at a better rate than USCC seems to. lots of questions on a second hand RAZR I'm currently running, and considering switching my wife to when our contract terms in August.

You can check U.S Cellular's coverage out on their coverage maps in this link U.S. Cellular .
Or one of the U.S cellular members on this forum http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/us-cellular-users/ , maybe able to help you to determine how U.S Cellular's coverage will be in that area.
