Hi to all, Just coming on board to the wireless world and gangplank seems a bit shakey Wife and I had "Pay-As-You-Go" cellphones for over a year but recently decided we needed to take the next step. Will be signing-up for the ALLTEL 2 Lines shared minutes Nation Freedom Plan and Wireless Internet tomorrow, ALLTEL gives us the best signal in our area. Our rural Michigan locale offers us racey Internet access at 26.4kps dial-up so we are looking forward to something faster and hope that this Wireless Internet is the answer. We are also planning on replacing our land lines by utilizing a "Dock-n-Talk", nice idea if it works. PB |

Hey, everyone. I'm new to the site and don't really have any of my own expertise to share, but I'm pretty excited to learn from everyone's experience. I've been with Cingular for about eight years and have recently downgraded my service plan in favour of a Cricket line as more of a general daily use phone. Nice to meet'cha. |

I just got the CDM-120 as a gift. Until now, I have avoided cell phones because I am hard of hearing and depended on TTY. The phone came with unlimited text message plan so I no longer need to lug my bulky TTY device and depend on a pay phone to use it in emergencies (my car likes to break down a lot). Plus I can receive incoming message if my parents or my brother needed me to pick up or do something. Before the phone, there was no way for them to contact me.

Hi, All, I just bought a Motorola v3xx and live in Malaysia where I am trying to use it as a modem aboard my boat/home. I use celcom's 3.5 G network. So far the results have been less than hoped for but it's passable. If I can answer any questions about Malaysia I will try. I think these forums are great and there are so many great people who explain things for those of us who feel mentally challenged because we can't program our telephones/DVD players/GPS, etc.. Thanks (and especially to the moderators when I screw up) |
