Hello all. Just a noob here looking to glean some info on my V3m Razr.Scouted the site and it looks chock full of good info and people. Going to attempt getting free ringtones first and then who knows. I would consider myself moderately computer savvy as I have built every computer I have ever owned. Since Windows XP arrived, I have forgotten alot of my old tricks because XP has been so stable. The need for software tweaks and ramming drivers down the throat of windows 98 are history. I will try searching for the answers I need but keywords are sometimes hard if I am not thinking on the same level of the original poster. Hope the water's good cuz I'm jumpin in. |

Hey everyone! I've been reading WA forums for a while now, and really have enjoyed them. Everyone here is very informative and i am glad to finally find a forum that has nice people on it that know what they are talking about lol! I've worked in the wireless industry (sales and network research) part-time for almost 3 years now and it has become a huge hobby of mine, as well as a part-time job (I am a college student). Anyway, I am very familiar with southwest VA coverage and licensing and some parts of southern WV. I have VZW (which I have, consistently for 5 years) and have also had (and cancelled) Sprint, Ntelos, SunCom (when they were around), and US Cellular. I have tried many different phones, and prefer LGs myself. I have recently resolved that the VX8100 and VX8300 are the best phones that have ever been made IMHO, at least for CDMA networks. If anyone ever comes to southwest VA, you will know how depressing GSM is here. Ok, I'm going to stop rambling here, but it's great to be a member here now, and I look forward to lots of great discussion! Take care, Alex |

Hi, I'm Manuel (aka Rupert.) I've just moved to Mississippi from Baden-Württemberg and I'm trying to come to terms with the outrageous prices charged for cell phone usage here and the restrictive practices allowed. |

Welcome to Wireless Advisor & America. I guess most of us will agree with your thoughts on the prices & restrictions, it seems to be getting worst as well. You will unfortunatly get use to these issues though. And welcome to all the other New people here. | |
