Hi everybody, I'm a writer for a company (iQmetrix) that designs software specifically for wireless retailers (i.e. ppl who sell cellphones). I write a company newsletter that we send to our clients, complete with retail tips and news about industry trends. More importantly, I'm a cellphone user like everybody else - I'm interested in what's going on in the wireless world. I hope to engage in your forums, share ideas and opinions, and learn with you. Talk to you soon, Allan |

I am new to cell phones. I got my V3m for two reasons: I just got married and wanted my wife and I to keep in touch during our hectic days, and lately I have been spending time gigging flounder at night and like the ability to call for help if I break down on some lonely oyster bar. I am looking forward to learning about this phone. I have heard good and bad about it, but I like the look and feel of the V3m, so with your help I will learn for myself.

Getting a little tired of the juvenile garbage that goes on over at HoFo. Hope this forum is more professional.

I purchased the LG VX 4500 in April 2006 off Ebay. It was refurbished, so didnt come with a manual. I have emailed the seller on this matter as well but havent yet gotten a response. The phone has been working great but last night, it got locked for some reason. (It was raining and I think instead of pressing the aterisks, I pressed on the #, locking it. I cant unlock it because I dont know the previous owner's code. Any pointers on how to reset this option, or if there is a code handy to do so? I cant make any calls from it ,or use any of the other functions, except for answering incoming calls. With Kind Regards, |

Hi everyone! I am not new to cell phones as I have one right now, but our plan is ending in February (my DH & I) and we are looking to switch. Currently have Sprint, but we just have way too many dropped calls where we live (NE Ohio). Verizon is currently the front-runner. Something else we have to keep in mind is that we are planning to move to Seattle in the Spring. So I need a plan that works in both NE Ohio as well as the Seattle area. We want new phones, too. We currently have Samsungs - very basic phones. We want something better - RAZRs perhaps. So, let the reasearching begin. I have NO idea where to start. Is there a "cell phone plans and phones for Dummies" place to start? With the plans, it seems to me as though we are "being taken." You hear of others that have these great, low cost, high minute plans. We actully have that right now with Sprint. DH threatened to leave so many times, that they made him an offer he couldn't refuse. BUT, we are just not happy with the plan anymore..... Thanks everyone!! |

Hello out there. I'm a new Razr owner and I am kinda new to the internet 's apparent 'altruistic' help rooms like this...but I do have some questions I can't seem to figure out on my own even after reading some blogs and the manual...anybody want to help the new guy?

Hey, see jay, there is a whole section on RAZR phones, and I guess a lot of the same questions are asked repeatedly over there, so you may find your answers there! I found it by clicking on Verizon, and at the top is a sticky about RAZR. I think anything you'd need has already been posted. I hope to have a RAZR soon... |
