So glad I found this site. I've been perusing for a few hours now and have found lots of excellent advice given out. (I usually hang out on usenet's rec.games.pinball) Well....why I'm here: I just missplaced (lost!) my beloved Kyocera 2325. Although I had recently maxed out it's phonebook/address memory anyway. I need a phone with lots of memory for contact info/addresses/phone numbers/ memos/calender/to do lists/ etc. & great battery life & phone clarity & reception & simple phone ring tone(s). I don't really need the camera or MP3 functions. I know the TREO 650 could do all these and then some but the Verizon sales guy said I HAVE to sign up for the data plan for an additional $45! (When I pressed him on this as I didn't need this function, he said that I can cancel that part of the plan a day after I sign up for the plan?) Would the Razr V3 fit the bill? The latest Kyocera? Something else? Incedently, I've been a verizon wireless customer for about 5 years now and am generally happy with them. Thanks for any help with this, Dr. Dave |

I for one have the Treo 650 on Verizon, & I didn't pay for the Data Pkg as I don't care for it & don't need it. There is a Pay-Per-Use option, which is the option I chose. You only pay for what you use, & no fee. I love the Treo 650 just from a converged standpoint!!! | |

Hi! I have an LG VX3200 and the speaker was damaged when a faceplate was being installed. Is there any way I can get this replaced. I am with Verizon; out of warranty; they said they will charge $150.00; any suggestions. Quote:

You need to get the unlock code from the provider whom you bought the phone from. Otherwise you can also ask Jay2TheRescue, he's our Motorola expert. http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/motorola/11782-jays-reference-base-modding-motorola.html^

Welcome to WA, You need to get the unlock code from the provider whom you bought the phone from or have it unlocked by a dealer with the equipment to generate an unlock code. |
