Hi alj25, Welcome to WA, what you need to do is to get the unlock code from the provider who you got the phone from. |

Hi folks. Stumbled across this site during my recent never-ending research quest about the Treo650's. I've got an LG 6100 now with VZW and love both the service and the phone. My phone is only 4 months old so I'll be paying full retail for the Treo. My mind hurts worrying I'm also werkin' on the CFO (wife) with the current justification for another electronic device. For those of you who are single, stay that way. An enhanced electronic lifestyle would be so much easier without a purchasing committee. Corey |

Hello! I'm no techie, but wanted a little help choosing service and a phone as soon as my contract is up with Cingular in January 2006. I've had too many dropped calls - I'm tired of it! I live in Cache Valley (Logan, UT). I have heard from many that Verizon has the best service around here, and am interested in the RAZR V3c which hasn't been released for Verizon service yet. What do you folks think? Should I post this somewhere more appropriate? |

Hello. I've already posted a few comments. I'm not a cell phone expert, but I'll admit I'm obsessed with cellular coverage and providers. My friends and family often make fun of me because of it! I've had several providers over the last 4-5 years: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and back to Verizon. I was driven away from Cingular because they tried to rip me off after they took over AT&T. They aslo caused many of my freinds to switch providers because of thier poor customer service and conduct. I'm broken hearted that AT&T is gone. They were the best in my opinion, and Cingular completely ruined the best network in my area (Northern CA). So I tried T-Mobile, but their coverage just didn't cut it for me. I wanted to try prepaid services, but could find none that matched my needs except for Liberty. Even though Liberty looked good, I didn't know anyone who had it. So I decided to go with a contract. Finally I went back to Verizon, and they have improved immensely since I had them 3 years ago. Anyway, through all of the hassle that I've gone through since the end of AT&T, I have come to learn alot about cellular service in my area, and would be glad to help anyone who is trying to decide. I'll admit that I am biased against Cingular, but for some people, it is the best choice. Anyway, that's my story!

post in the Western US wireless forum since we have a couple users here who hail directly from your area. Andy84094 (from Salt Lake) is quite knowledgable about UT and Verizon and RyanB is our other member from Logan, UT. He can probably give you very detailed answers for that area. | |
