oh I see you talking minutes used, and acct balance, that's called an automated system, you can't find out anything you want to know like numbers dialed, average usage, all phone numbers on acct, SSN, Credit card numbers, or checking acct numbers, the post made it sound like you can get anybodies Personally Identifiable information.

I only needed 3 lines for myself and 2 other employees. I signed up using the business name to pay for the bills but again, my name is listed on the bill sent to my business address. I find that interesting that I have never had issues accessing my account before this issue arise and my account have been good standing since signing.
I thank you for trying to help and will take your advice and try the numbers given. Do understand that I don't have time to just write this for no reason. T-Mobile, like I said, in the past has not given me any troubles.
NO attitude, I very much disagree. I have been on the receiving end of much of this attitude from t-mobile's rep since this issue came up.
Thank you, but I think it's time to move on.
Thank you everyone and have a great one!
that's too bad like I have said multiple times to you I think this could easily be resolved but since I am not going to look at your acct I can't really guide you in the right direction, but hey good luck sorry you're leaving if you do, and I hope you are happy wherever you end up

I too am a T-Mobile customer care rep. I think it's very plainly obvious what is going on with this situation. You have a business account with your name listed as the "Attention" name the bill is sent to. By FCC Policy, this does not make you an authorized user. If the account is listed under your business with a tax ID, you need to be added as an authorized user, something can only be done by business care. Every rep you've talked to recently is not mistaken, the first one you talked to that helped you was, and could get in serious trouble for discussing an account with an unauthorized user. It sucks, because before December you always were able to call. As of December, the FCC made a new policy to apply to ALL wireless carriers stating that only the billing responsible person (your business in this case, not you) or an authorized user can talk to us about an account. Just email business care at businesscare@t-mobilesupport.com or call customer care to get their fax number (I can't remember it) and you will have your name added within 24-48 hours. Then hopefully we can resolve the problems you've been having.

Is it possible he does not have a real business account, but the account name is the name of his business instead of his actual name? i.e. First Name: Joe's; Last Name: Business

I can't fathom why a rep would not have previously told him that business care would need to add him as an authorized user.

Yes this is possible, and I see it from time to time, by the way I forgot to address something for this user, YOU do not have to have more than 5 lines to have a business acct, but you usually have to have more than 5 to have a business plan because our consumer plans address needs for up to five lines on any plan and our business plans are for bigger pooling plans than our consumer plans allow (i.e. more than 5 lines), oh yeah and by the way the title of this thread.........(maybe I shouldn't post when I have been drinking) Tmobile = BAD I don't thing JD Powers agrees with you on this.

He has also stated that his name is on the account, but look how far that's gotten him.

personally I feel that if it is a consumer acct and he insisted on having his business name on it then this is his own fault, not tmobiles. Now that the FCC has changed the rules about the authorized user section of his acct he is upset understandibly that he can't get into his acct so now either take the steps that were given to you and get added to your acct where you should be or don't and deal with it
