My 1 yr contract with T-mobile is ending. I have the samsung T629 with myfaves600 plan (49.99) plus 400 text messages (4.99). If I renew the contract, what can I expect to get? For just talk and text messaging, which T-mobile phone is currently good? |

. Unless you need a new phone, why not just stay month to month? Contracts are more for the carriers advantage, than the customers. Best. TB imo |

Unless you require (or want) a new phone, there really isn't a need to enter into another contract, you can simply go month-to-month. I've been off-contract with T-Mobile for over two years.

overall the first two posters gave terrible advice. The best thing you can do is get a better deal on your plan. You do this by finding a plan with another carrier that is better than yours then "suggest" that you are willing to leave unless they match it. They will match it if you are courteous and not nasty. This is the way that you get better deals from the companies. Not sitting and taking their crap.

the last post is the worst advice, I tell people all the time you should only call if you need something, otherwise it's a waste of your time and the companies. Go online to mytmobile click on upgrade my phone find the phone you want and order it if you want a two year contract, if you want a one year contract expect to pay more and call cust service and if you want to go with another company call the other company and give them your tmobile or current wireless provider acct number and let them port your number, then you don't have to call and go through the questions that you would if you were calling to say that you're going to cancel... but if you're happy with tmobile stay there things are only going to get better. FYI as an insider I can tell you that your plan is not available for a lower rate so haggling over the cost of your plan is just a waste of your time and will only frustrate you for no reason. Peace |
