hey everyone.....i'm selling my friends T-Mobile Wing for her. This isn't a solicitation. I just need to know if the unlocking process is the same. You stick a different SIM card in the phone and enter a subsidy code.

and for those of you who can calculate the lock codes please PM me. obviously the carrier is T-Mobile but i need to PM the IMEI simply for privace reasons.

Check out UnlockCellphone.com: Reliable service to unlock your Sony Ericsson, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Panasonic, Samsung, Siemens, HTC, XDA, Cingular, T-mobile, ATT, Nextel, Boost cell phones and more, they have been around since 2002, offers excellent support (even by phone), and have been featured in newspaper and TV. They can do the T-Mobile Wing, though currently it takes a while, whereas Cingular, ATT, Rogers, Fido are much quicker.

You may want to look over at XDA-Developers to see if they made and unlocker for the Wing.

It's an old thread, but you don't need to pay someone to do this, T-Mobile will unlock your phone for you if you ask them. One per 90-day span, and you have to be in good standing for some period. Just call or email customer care, they'll walk you through it and you'll get your code in an email. Easy!
