**reactivating Lost Phone**

I recently lost my T-mobile Blackberry Curve and luckily got it replaced via equipment protection from Asurion. However, I found my lost phone and was wondering if there was any way to give it to a friend to reactivate and use.

I already paid the $102 deductible to get the replacement phone and didn't want to just return it to Asurion like they want me to. Is there any way to reactivate the phone with a new SIM card account without T-mobile identifying the phone as being a phone that had been reported lost and possibly being penalized?

Is there a way that T-mobile can identify a phone that had been reported lost?

the phone may be marked as lost.........but the only thing they can mark is the IMEI..........your friend should be able to just pop in his SIM and hes off
