I should be the one to apologize here not you. I shouldn't have taken this thread off topic. Now back to your regularly scheduled RIZR thread.

I think you will start seeing some more requests to keep the threads on-topic in the coming weeks

I would have liked the RIZR more if the one that I bought would have had a sturdier slide on it. I didn't like the way Motorola only has two thin pins, one on each side of the slide holding it in place. Another point with the RIZR that may had hindered the reception on it, was how it was held. I think the internal antenna on it may have been placed along the bottom of the phone and as I have found in past models, it's not such a great place for it.
Maybe the unlocked, unbranded versions with other flex and software versions are better as opposed to the TMobile branded ones as Tony has said in a prior post on here.

no that def is not the best place to put and internal antenna..........and it does have a very stiff slide but i think thats why i like it so much.........i dont like somke of the Samsung sliders because they tend to have a loose slide and it bothers me for some reason..........i suppose i would get use to it after a while

I think you might have missed this thread. http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/t-...able-post.html (Where is the RIZR?/RIZR IS NOW AVAILABLE-POST COMMENTS HERE) ...... Check out post #22.
I had this phone 2 times and didn't like it. Both of them were slow at picking up a signal that was lost. And both of them took to darn long to go to the main menu once I turned on the phone.

Once again i'll just merge this one as well to avoid having too many of them.
