Default Scheduled Alerts vs Alerts On Demand

I know that alerts are scheduled to be sent to your handset at a pre-arranged time and alerts on demand are sent to your phone whenever you send a coded text message to T-Mobile. I found that alerts on demand are $0.20 per alert but I could find no pricing information on scheduled alerts on T-Mobile.com. I was wondering if you are charged normal SMS charges (ie, a scheduled alert is just taken out of your SMS bucket) or if both types of alerts are $0.20 per alert?

Default Re: Scheduled Alerts vs Alerts On Demand

Scheduled alerts (based on time or when a sports game ends and you want the final score) are charged standard SMS rates, and you can buy the $2.99 300 SMS package for example which is good for alerts and regular SMS to/from your friends etc. Overage is .05 each, or if you don't have a package, each SMS incoming or outgoing is .05 each.

Sweet, that's what I hoped but wanted to make sure that the alerts were charged from my SMS bucket (I do have the 300 SMS package which is quite a good deal, IMHO.) Thanks, Matt.
