Default Text Message Billing

T-Mobile is charging us for text-messaging and they state that they can’t stop it. It’s almost like getting charged an extra $0.10 per SPAM email. We keep telling them that we don’t use or need it, but they say they can’t stop!

What can we do? Is there an FCC email we can send a complaint and show this to?

Thank you,
Serg.

Call customer care and request all text messaging be turned off. They can do it.

I did some checking, and it is supposed to be able to be done...although TM does resist. If you are getting the spam to your email address/alias (tmomail.net) try the filters on mytmobile.com under communication tools. (on the right choose the spam filter under "resources"

Also, try contacting TM via the online forms...I've heard that is monitored at times by executive customer care.

good luck.

You most certainly can turn off the SMS service.

I'm having the same problem as Serge, receiving unsolicited e-mails, and some I find offensive. I've tried contacting the sender multiple ways and multiple times to no avail. According to my reverse phone search, this company is also a T-Mobil customer. T-mobil has, in their words, "offered several options", and all of them cost me more. The last person with whom I spoke, a supervisor, was, by far, the least helpful and most contentious. I can see why she does not deal directly with the customer.

I've tried identifying e-mail address of someone in customer service or marketing or operations at the corp. site. but I can't seem to find one. When I've had unresponsive customer service, this has helped in the past with other companies to contact someone in upper management.

Can anyone offer any ways to contact the corporate office by e-mail.
