I'd like to be able to occasionally use my phone as a modem when I'm away from a network jack. I have a Motorola v360, and I'm pretty sure that I have a good grasp of the hardware/software issues, but I'm not sure about the T-Mobile side of things. I currently have the $39.95/600 minutes plan with no extra options, and I'm not sure what else I'd need to sign up for to make this happen. I see that T-Mobile offers something called T-MobileWeb as a $5.99 addon to my service, but will that do what I need? I don't want to blow my minutes on net access, though I realize I could probably do that. I'd appreciate any insight others might have. |
