Welcome to the T-Mobile user group. This is the place to ask questions about T-Mobile that aren't necessarily geograhically oriented (like coverage). Ask rate plan questions, billing, phones, t-zones etc.

Thank you. I signed up with T Mobile today, gave up on TracFone (thanks to Cingular). First mobile phone I've ever had with a color screen! |

It's a good phone too. If you can't stand the funky keypad you might look into getting Nokia 6010 faceplates and keypad to replace it. If you don't mind, then go with what you got.

I was in a T Mobile store this evening and looked at the different faceplates and accessories they offer for the 3595. I'll stick with the default gray, but they offer a good selection. |

On the current (old) VM system, if a call goes to voicemail (if the phone is off, for example), the recording indicates that they have reached mailbox number blah-blah, instead of a personalized message. Is this same type of greeting w/phone number an option on the new VM system? I would rather use that type of greeting instead of a personalized greeting, as if the caller hears the number and realizes they dialed incorrectly, they can hang up at that point and not leave an erroneous message (which (1) has happened before, and (2) I had to pay minutes for).

All we have is T-Mobile & Nokia. Haven't really planned on going to any other Service. Also, we haven't found any other phones yet better than Nokia.

Are you trying to see if they can replace your Cingular line(s), Tony?

Hi, I'm from Providence, Rhode Island. Just found this site today. I've been a loyal customer with T-Mobile since 2002. My plan is Family Plan Plus w/2000 minutes. I presently have 5 active lines. I'm glad I found this site as I have some questions that T-Mobile is having a hard time answering. I will post in open forum area. Thanks Greg

Yes, I've heard about the new "my 5". It's a good deal for users who call non-T-Mobile mobile customers or landlines often.

| I've been with TMobile for over a year now. They have great coverage where I live, but nothing at all in upstate PA. where I like to travel to in the summer time. mingkee I'd like to see TMobile bring some of those SE phones to their lineup.

| Thanks mingkee I'll check that model out. I don't think it will improve coverage for me upstate though. TMobiles coverage locater for coaldale indicates that there is no coverage at all there.
