The phones are decent.

You can switch T-Mobile phones at any time, all you have to do is swap the SIM card between phones. But they both can't be active at the same time.

matt if I get the phones all I half to do is take the card out of my old phone and put it in the new one and it will work.do I half to go to my local t mobile store to get them activated?I guess your saying that I should keep my old ones incase my new one breaks for a back up.

Rick,

You are exactly correct. Your new upgraded phone will not include a SIM card. All you need to do is put the card in the new phone and charge the phone and you are ready to go. No need to visit a store. I would definitely keep your old phones as a back up.

If your card fails, you have to get a new one from TM. I am pretty sure you can get them from any TM corporate retail store. Last I heard, they cost $20.

When you do the upgade ask CS for a new SIM, they may just put one in your new phone for free.

True, and you can activate it if you want to, but your original SIM then becomes permanently inactive.
