Images: 21 | So I have text alerts set to send the scores of Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Kansas City Chiefs games to my phone. I don't have cable so I didn't get to watch the Steelers barely win last night and I was upset because I never got any quarter score updates. This morning, around 11AM CST, I got four Steelers updates, a Penguins update and three messages from my friends from last night. My phone was on and I know it was getting signal and not roaming on USA 590 (Western Wireless GSM) because I had used it a few times last night. Does anyone know why my text messages seem to have "backed up" and showed up all at once this morning? I've never had this happen before and it's not a big deal, just want to know if I can do anything to prevent this in the future.

No, nothing you can do about it AFAIK. It's happened to me before too.

Same thing happened to me on TIM 2 weeks ago... I was texting for the first time on this network and all the messages took like 2 hours to arrive. But the ones I sent were immediate... even to other TIM phones! Dont know exactly why it does that...
