EDGE or 3G in Reading, PA?

so my friend who has T-Mobile got a flyer in her bill that said that there would soon be downloadable videos ...

    Default EDGE or 3G in Reading, PA?

    so my friend who has T-Mobileicon got a flyer in her bill that said that there would soon be downloadable videos in our area...........the only way this would be possible would be if they got EDGE or 3G would be better..............does anybody know about plans T-Mobileicon has for the the Greater Philly area???

    EDGE should be available now
    HSDPA will be available early next year (by market)

    i dont think we have EDGE in Reading here. my friend has a RAZR and she is stuck on GPRS speeds.............it really sucks.........all i know is that i wanna switch for a Sidekick and i want there to be EDGE here by November of 08 cuz thats when my Sprinticon contract is up...............maybethey will have a UMTS Sidekick by then........that would be nice........

    Some RAZRs only have GPRS - most of the early ones. Mine (from late 2005) is GPRS only. There is EDGE in many areas of Lancaster and the surrounding towns. I'll try and check.

    k thanx................do you know when T-Mobileicon will begin to market the EDGE???...........................cuz i think they are one of the only companies that doesn't market it........

    I dont think that T-Mobileicon will market its EDGE service too much. T-mo will prolly continue to market myFaves more than data b/c they're still behind the game when it comes to data.

    no crap they are...........but i would think that if they want to get ahead they should market something......like i said.my friend got an insert advertising some sort of Video service from T-Mobileicon..............why wouldnt they market this to the general public?

    so usually when someone refers to UMTS they are referring to it like UMTS/HSDPA
