Sprint has changed the color scheme on the tower maps but still hasn't updated the tower statuses. http://www.sprint.com/pcsbusiness/co...towermaps.html |

Larry, how accurate are these maps? I can't find a tower that they show, and I drive by the area weekly. But I know of two towers they don't show. I am almost thinking that they missed marked the map on one, and the other one is because it isn't active. Since it is at a Sprint landline sub station I'm thinking it is a back up.

The maps are fairly accurate but are prone to errors as well. I've seen a couple of current towers in LA that arean't shown on there at all. Then there are some that are showing as current that should be future and vice versa. But most of it is accurate.

Ok, thanks. I will try looking again when I pass the area. But if I don't see any thing, the map for my area has a pretty big error.

I noticed there are some errors in New Mexico. There are no current towers in Taos even though it shows a number of them.
