Well, if my gf wanted to spend her own money on the airave and I get to take advantage of it, well then I am all for it. And since that is exactly what happened, I decided to come on back.

Sound/voice quality on iden was better though.

Nice to have real SMS again though.

I remember in the old days CDMA was considered the king of voice quality. But over the years I think the codecs have changed for capacity reasons and it doesn't sound as good as it used to.

I still think the original Sprint Samsung SCH-1000 in 1997-98 was the best voice quality I have ever had on a cell phone. Not sure if it was the phone or the old networks or maybe a combination of both.
