I was in a Sprint store the other day and trying to decide on a new phone for going with Sprint. Well I have a BB Pearl w/T-Mobile and now starting to have trouble with the trackball. So I was looking at what other WM based phones are out there. Besides trying to push me into a Centro or Moguel I asked about a Q9c. They kept pushing me towards a Centro and Moguel. But I was set in my ways and wanted info about the Q9c. The salesman finally answered some of my questions but let's be honest a 7 year old could have also. So I figured I would look it up on-line and do some comparasion between the Q9c and ACE. (I like the fixed keyboard and size of the keys for my sausage fingers. Plus I like the UI a little bit more then the BB.) So as I looked on the Sprint website I see no Motorola Q9c, so I called the store and talked with Sprint messaging on-line, while looking for the phone, and got yes it is going away along with no it has been pulled so all ROM's can be updated to WM 6.1 So who is correct and if the Q9c is being pulled why??? Has it not only been out since November or so??? |

Not sure with the standard (smartphone) version. But with the pro version has zooming in PIE and threaded SMS. Most of the improvements are under the hood.

The update can be grabed from Motorola's site. It is very easy to do your self, just connect through ActiveSync and run the update. You can always take your phone in to get it updated, but I wouldn't trust any one at a Sprint store to do it. |

When/if it released for the ACE you will download it either from Samsung's or Sprint's site. And almost all PPC/smartphone updates are done using ActiveSync.
