Default Question about unlimited data...

I'm on the SERO plan and it has all the goodies along with the unlimited data. Is it truly unlimited? As in I could use it all day long and I won't end up with an outrageous bill? I found a way to stream tv and radio on my phone (great for passing the time at boring Army spouse functions lol ) and I just want to be sure before I start to play. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I have a Moto Q. It's my first smartphone so I am not really used to all of the neat stuff I can do with it yet. Really cool so far.

Smile Re: Question about unlimited data...

Ooh, I have a V3M...
Is a SmartPhone one with a keyboard? Those are awesome...
Usually on my V3M, I'd access my programming menu, go to "Web Sessions" and create a new connection using Google's gateway IP address and Port 80.

I don't know if this works on yours or not, but I'd search google for ways to modify web sessions on your phone.

C U Later! and good luck!

P.S.: Look up "Free WAP"

Yes if you are on a SERO power vision plan your data is unlimited no matter how much you use.

Didn't Sprint just release that they have 5 Gig data caps in place. A memo I read from work said that out of all their customer's 0.5% actually go over 5 gigs and wouldn't be worth it to have it unlimited. It also said every 3 months Sprint will check your account for usage and see if you go over the cap. If you occasionally go over and its not that much, nothing will happen. Same with the roaming, its a 300 Mb cap though. I'll check the memo again tomorrow when I go in. I'm not a 100% sure, but I would think its also for the SERO plans because on June 15th, all the old plans will be gone and replaced with ones based off the Simply Everything plan. To bad they had to do this, I was going to get a aircard and use it for internet.

The cap only applies to those persons on data card (mobile broadband) plans or with PAM (phone as modem) add-ons. The 5GB cap does not apply to regular Vision/Power Vision plans.
