| im just asking again for good measure....ive called Sprint like 3 times asking the same question......do i need the Blackberry pack if i already have Sprint Power Vision........... but then something occured to me.....if i put Opera Mini and Gmail on the Blackberry 8830.......would they work without BIS?

| and before you tell me know it's not SUPPOSED to work......has anyone ever tried it?

| If you can get Opera Mini onto the BB it will work with a normal PV plan. Email will not work.

| I'm not sure about the GMail app or how you would load Opera onto the device. Perhaps Opera has a BB installer that can be used with the BB desktop software? You might find answers to these questions over at blackberryforums.com
